Interior Car Cleaning in Oklahoma City
Look, we get it. You open the door on a Monday morning and the smell hits you before you even sit down. Old coffee, crumbs under the seat, and a fine layer of red dirt and cedar pollen on the dashboard that comes back two days after you wipe it. Most drivers assume their car is just old. Usually, it is not. It is dirty in places a quick vacuum will never reach. All Hands on Dash handles interior car cleaning and shampooing in Oklahoma City, and we come to you.

Who We Are and What We Actually Do
All Hands on Dash is a concierge mobile detailing operation based in southeast Oklahoma City, at Building #8, 3301 South Eastern Avenue, OK 73129. We work on cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans throughout the metro and the surrounding towns with shampooing services.
We focus on interiors. Some shops treat the cabin as an afterthought to a paint job. We do not. Interior work is where most drivers feel the biggest difference, because you sit in that space every single day.
We use professional grade products, including System X LVP for leather, vinyl, and plastic, and System X Textile for carpet and fabric protection. Those are real coatings with real durability, not a shine spray that looks good for a week.
Booking is simple. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10:00am to 7:00pm, and Sunday by appointment only. Most interior jobs get scheduled within a couple of days, though busy weekends fill up faster than people expect.

What a Real Interior Detail Covers
Here is the thing about car interior cleaning. Most people picture a vacuum and a wipe down. That is maybe fifteen percent of the job.
A proper vehicle interior restoration touches every surface you use and plenty you never think about. We work through the dashboard, instrument panel, steering wheel, gear shifter, arm rest, door panels, center console, cup holders, glove box, sun visor, and air vents. Vents matter more than most drivers realize. Dust settles in there and blows straight back at you every time the AC kicks on.
Then we move to soft surfaces. Seats, seat rails, seat belts, floor mats, carpet, headliner, rear seats, trunk interior, and cargo area. Cloth seats and fabric upholstery get shampooed and extracted. Leather seats get cleaned and conditioned, which matters a lot here because Oklahoma summers bake leather until it cracks. Vinyl trim and plastic trim get cleaned and dressed without that greasy look nobody wants.
Customers ask us about specific problems constantly. Coffee stains. Soda spills. Food crumbs ground into the carpet. Mud from a rainy job site. Pet hair woven into fabric seats. Grease, ink, sand, salt residue from winter roads, and water stains along the door sills. Smoke odor, pet odor, and that musty mildew smell after a window got left open during a storm.
Most of it comes out. We will be straight with you though. Some things do not. Deeply set ink, permanent dye transfer, or fabric that has already torn is beyond cleaning. In our experience, about one job in ten has something that only improves partway. We tell you that up front rather than after you have paid.
Auto sanitization is part of the work too. Steam handles bacteria and allergens on hard surfaces without soaking your electronics. For allergy sufferers in central Oklahoma, that alone is worth the appointment.

Local Conditions We Deal With Every Week
Red clay soil is the first thing. It stains carpet and floor mats in a way ordinary dirt does not, and it gets worse after every storm. Second is wind. Central Oklahoma sits in an open wind corridor, so dust and pollen stay airborne and end up inside your vehicle no matter how carefully you close the doors.
Summer heat is the third factor. Interior temperatures climb high enough to dry out leather, warp adhesives, and bake spills into upholstery until they set permanently. Winter brings the opposite problem. Road treatment leaves salt residue on carpet and mats, and it keeps pulling in moisture long after the ice melts.
Then there is the commute itself. Long daily drives on I-35, I-40, I-240, and the Kilpatrick Turnpike mean more hours in the seat and more coffee, more food, and more everyday buildup. We see it most in vehicles headed to and from Tinker on the east side, near where our shop sits.
Seasonally, spring is our busiest stretch. Pollen plus storms plus mud all land in the same eight weeks. If you can, book before the cedar and oak counts spike.
We Come To You
Mobile interior detailing across the OKC metro, at home or work.
Honest About Limits
If a stain will only lighten, we tell you before we start.
"quoted before we start"
- Know your full price before any work begins.
- No add-ons appear halfway through the job.
- Larger vehicles and heavy jobs quoted upfront.
We use real protection products, not dressings that wear off in a week. Ceramic coating for leather, vinyl, and plastic.
Fabric protector for carpet and textile keeps future cleanups easier and lasts years rather than weeks.
Step Work
Our Simple Interior Auto Detailing Process
Usually we start the same way, though it varies with how bad things are.
01.
Proper Inspection
We walk the interior with you and point out problem areas. Stained seats, worn leather, faded plastic, any odor source. This is also when we flag anything that may not fully come out.
02.
Debris and deep vacuum
Trash comes out first. Then a shop vacuum with crevice tools goes through carpet, seat rails, trunk, and every gap. Pet hair removal happens here and takes far longer than people guess.
03.
Deep
cleaning
Carpet extraction and upholstery cleaning with hot water extraction. Steam cleaning for vents, panels, and tight seams. Targeted stain removal on anything that survived step two.
04.
Surface detailing
Every hard surface gets cleaned by hand with detailing brushes and swabs. Leather conditioning where needed. Plastic restoration and interior dressing to bring back color without adding shine that glares in your windshield.
Timing depends on condition. Most interior car detailing in OKC runs two to five hours. A neglected three row SUV can take longer.

Tools That Make the Difference
Our upholstery extractor pulls dirty water back out of carpet and fabric instead of leaving it soaking underneath. That matters in Oklahoma humidity, where trapped moisture turns into mildew smell within days. A steam cleaner handles vents, seams, and sanitizing without heavy chemicals. The Tornador tool blasts compressed air and cleaner into cup holders, seat tracks, and console gaps that no brush reaches.
Beyond that it is soft bristle brushes, detailing swabs, foam applicators, and a lot of clean microfiber towels. We swap towels constantly. Reusing a dirty one just moves grime around, and that is the difference between a car that looks clean and one that is clean.
Why a Dirty Interior Costs You More Than You Think
First, your health. Oklahoma allergy season is brutal and long. Tree pollen from oak, cedar, and elm runs from late winter into spring. Grass pollen takes over in summer. Ragweed hits in fall. All of it rides the wind into your cabin and settles into carpet and fabric, where it stays. Add dust mites, mold spores from humid summers, and bacteria on high touch surfaces like your steering wheel. Your car becomes a small sealed box you breathe in for an hour a day.
Second, your money. Interior condition moves trade in value more than most sellers expect. Stained seats, a cracked dash, and lingering odor all get factored into an appraisal. A cabin that has been maintained holds value better than one that gets a rushed clean the week before you sell.
There is a maintenance angle too. UV protection and fabric protector slow the fading and cracking that Oklahoma sun causes. Prevention is cheaper than restoration. It always is.
Areas We Serve
We cover Oklahoma City and most of the surrounding metro. That includes Edmond, Norman, Moore, Midwest City, Del City, Yukon, Mustang, Bethany, Choctaw, Nichols Hills, and Piedmont.
Inside the city we regularly work in Bricktown, Midtown, the Paseo, Capitol Hill, Deer Creek, Belle Isle, the I-240 corridor, and the neighborhoods around Tinker.
Further out we still travel, though a small trip fee may apply depending on distance. Call and ask. We would rather tell you honestly than have you drive across the metro for nothing.

FAQs About Our Interior Auto Detailing
Here are answers to common questions to help you understand our interior detailing process and what to expect.
Most jobs run two to five hours. A lightly used sedan finishes faster. A three row SUV with pet hair and set stains takes longer, sometimes most of a day.
Ours starts at $50 for a basic interior and $150 for our premium package. Nationally the range is commonly $150 to $350. Vehicle size and condition are the two biggest factors.
Yes. We are a mobile service across the OKC metro. We need reasonable access to the vehicle and a bit of space to work.
Usually, yes. It takes rubber brushes, extraction, and patience. Heavy pet hair adds time, so mention it when you book and we will quote it properly.
In most cases we can reduce it a lot or eliminate it. Long term smoke in a headliner is the hardest case. We treat the source rather than spraying over it.
Yes, for vents, panels, seams, and sanitizing. For carpet and upholstery we usually prefer hot water extraction, because it pulls the dirt back out instead of leaving it behind.
Typically every four to six months. Daily commuters, families with young kids, pet owners, and smokers usually want it closer to every three.
